very very old picture from 98. but now in 1600x1200 .
.
it's made first in on a sketch in a mathbook.
then it dropped into photoshop.
then plunged right into deluxepaint and refined there.
later picked up and resized to 300dpi A3 in photoshop.
and now, here in 1600x1200 in full photoshop glory (25% that is)

tools used.: line, airbrush, lasso, fill and since it's an old picture i of course went crazy with the curves. +hurray+.

i have always wondered why i haven't used vectorprograms too but im a little to in love with pixels i guess. I have now in later days started to use illustrator though. . it's really a timesaver and printings are much easier. .

I especially like how the shapes are simplified and then recomplicated, so to speak. Like the way the arms and legs of the figure are shaded.
Very cool style even if this is supposed to be old, I think it's a very modern, very up-to-date style of drawing and coloring. Excellent!
